Square Enix has been releasing so-called ‘Pixel Remasters’ of the first six Final Fantasy games on Steam and mobile since this year. The first three remasters were released last July, the fourth game in September and part five in November.
The Pixel Remasters improve the look of the game. Other improvements are also being made, including a custom soundtrack and various quality-of-life adjustments. The games can be purchased individually or in a bundle.
