Zamalek goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi spoke after his team’s victory over Al-Ahly, noting, “We are not afraid of anyone on the stadium.”
Muhammad Subhi said, “The bus arrived today and we saw what happened.”
“Zamalek is not afraid of anyone. And the stadium is a referee among us today,” he added in his statements to Radio On Sport.
He continued, “We played a big game against Al-Ahly, even with the young players.”
And he added, “Our focus is on the African Championship, but it was necessary to win the most important match for the fans, which was the summit match.”
Zamalek won 3-1 at the expense of Al-Ahly in the 21st round of the Egyptian League.
The White Knight’s arrows were fired by Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, Mustafa Muhammad and Usama Faisal, in the minutes 13, 71 and 93.
While Al-Ahly’s only goal came through Yasser Ibrahim in the 62nd minute.
