Red Bull striker Timo Werner goes down 10 million euros if he does not win the Bundesliga this season.
The German Football Association issued a decision to resume the league competition beginning May 16.
The Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Inter and Liverpool wanted to see Werner this summer.
The report indicated that the clause of Werner’s departure from his German team drops from 60 million to 50 million euros if his club does not win the league this year.
Leipzig is currently third in the German league, five points behind leaders Bayern Munich, and the team reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Italian newspaper pointed to a strong competition from Liverpool for Inter team to join Werner.
Werner is considered the perfect replacement for the Inter team in the event of the departure of Lautaro Martinez, whose name was recently linked to Barcelona.
