Nader Shawky, the agent of Al-Ahly midfielder, Mohamed Mahmoud, denied that he had suffered a new knee injury.
Shawky told FilGoal.com: “All the examinations and x-rays he underwent on a fast European trip confirmed his safety and readiness.”
And he added, “We decided to travel to Germany, where he stayed for 5 days, during which he underwent all medical procedures, to check on him.”
And he completed, “All results confirmed his recovery and the absence of any problems or obstacles, and he is continuing to rehabilitate and equip.”
Al-Ahly contracted with Mohamed Mahmoud in January before last from the Tigris Valley before he suffered a cut in the cruciate ligament, and he returned after 279 days by playing in the media friendly match on October 14, before he was injured 10 days later with the same injury in the other knee.
