Zamalek put the name of the Portuguese Josvaldo Ferreira as a main goal in his negotiations to choose the new coach, who will succeed Patrice Carteron.

FilGoal.com learned that Ferreira requested a deadline to respond to Zamalek officials, in the coming hours.

FilGoal.com communicated with Roy Aguach, assistant coach in Ferreira’s coaching staff, who was part of his coaching staff in Santos, Brazil.

Agwash, who previously worked in Egypt with Pharco, told FilGoal.com: “I have not been contacted so far by Ferreira to seek my opinion about working in Zamalek.”

Guido Ferreira took over the coaching of Zamalek in the 2014-2015 season, and achieved with the club the League and Cup titles, while the Egyptian Super Cup lost to Al-Ahly by three goals to two, and reached the semi-finals of the African Confederation.
