FIFA 21 “is a pay-to-win game.” Some reviewers complain about microtransactions. Review of review ratings

You already know our rating in the FIFA 21 review. Now it’s time to check how other editors rate the latest EA football.

What can I say – with the loudly announced gameplay news, it is as usual for this brand. FIFA 21, instead of revolutionizing its gameplay, takes small steps towards improving the gameplay. This time players should be satisfied with a strong offensive – defensive play was weakened.

In part of the reviews, incl. this Eurogamer, there are complaints about elements that are more suited to free-to-play games, i.e. the loot boxes present in the Ultimate Team – FUT mode. Microtransactions have according to Eurogamer re-character “pay-to-win”, which is a serious complaint for AAA production sold at full price.

This is not the end of the accusations from the Eurogamer text – the reviewer does not like FIFA 21’s attitude to constant attack truly arcade atmosphere of the game. In turn, the GameSpot review criticizes the Career Mode, which is developing too slowly. According to GameSpot, the mode has also been equipped with terribly thought-out menus.
