Earlier, Square Enix officially announced that the PS5 version of “FF XIV” will open beta on April 13. This also means that “FF XIV” will become a work that spans the three generations of PlayStation. Currently on the PS5 platform, players can already play this game in a backward compatible mode. Players holding the PS4 version will be able to get the PS5 version for free in the future. The latter will have 4K, high-speed loading and other features, and it has been thoroughly optimized for the new host.
While releasing the PS5 version public beta news, SE also released the 6.0 major version “Aria’s End” today. It will contain sages and another new occupation in the melee physics department (the details will not be announced until later), and there will be new stories, new maps, new tasks, and the upper limit of the level will be increased from 80 to 90.
