Globo’s sports team gains two more female voices starting this Tuesday. Referee commentator Fernanda Colombo and narrator Natália Lara reinforce the group’s sports broadcasting team.

Fernanda and Natália are scheduled to debut at the beginning of the Brasileirão, at the end of May, in SporTV and Premiere broadcasts.

Graduated in Physical Education, Fernanda Colombo, from Santa Catarina, started her career as an arbitration assistant in 2010. The commentator left the fields to specialize in sports journalism and, at the age of 30, has already worked at Band and Fox Sports. Fernanda is also the author of the children’s book “Let’s play football”, which teaches sports rules to children.

In 2021, Fernanda Colombo commanded the Central do Apito in three matches of the Catarinense Championship for NSC TV, Globo’s affiliate in Santa Catarina.

– I feel fulfilled because I prepared a lot to have this opportunity. I am grateful for the trust of Grupo Globo and also of everyone who believed in my potential and who certainly contributed so that I could realize this dream today – says the referee commentator, who left the lawns in 2016.

In the narration, the reinforcement of Globo is the São Paulo Natália Lara. Graduated in Radio and TV, she specialized in Voiceover and has narrated competitions in 16 sports. In 2019, she worked exclusively with women’s football, covering the state for the São Paulo Football Federation and the Brasileirão on social networks. On TV Cultura and DAZN, broadcast Superliga, Women’s Libertadores, Italian Championship, among others.

In March of this year, Natália was hired by the ESPN / Fox Sports channels and narrated several championships, becoming the first woman to narrate NBA in Brazil. At Globo, she will be part of the team of narrators of the Tokyo Olympic Games.
