Fedorov told what difficulties await the enemy in the south of Ukraine – UNIAN

In recent months, most of the food has been delivered from Russia via Crimea, now this delivery will become much more complicated, Fedorov noted.

For damage to the Crimean bridge, Russian occupiers in the Kherson and Zaporozhye directions not only difficulties in the supply of weapons and ammunition are expected, but also food shortages.

This was announced by the mayor of the city of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov as part of the information telethon.

“Of course, we understand that it was from the Crimea, through this Crimean bridge, that a huge amount of ammunition and heavy weapons was delivered directly to our directions Zaporozhye and Kherson. That is, now we hope that everything will stop, but if not. stops at all, so it will slow down, “Fedorov said.

He added that the occupants also expect a shortage of food.

“As for the food and everything else. In recent months, most of the products have been delivered directly from Crimea and certainly not all of them were produced in Crimea, but they were also delivered from Russia. Therefore, now there will be shortage. of food, “Fedorov said.

The mayor of Melitopol noted that residents of temporarily occupied territories have long had problems due to shortages of food and medicine, but the occupiers do not allow them to provide humanitarian aid to people or leave them for the territory controlled by Ukraine.

“We see that today our residents are left without evacuation routes. Therefore, today, in fact, about 60,000 residents of the Melitopol region are prisoners of the Rashists, who cannot leave or evacuate. And they have enormous problems with food and medicine, because also we cannot hand them over, because the enemy does not agree, “Fedorov stressed.

He added that at the checkpoint near Vasilyevka there is a large accumulation of cars with residents who want to enter the territory controlled by Ukraine, but the Russian army does not let them out.

“In Vasilievka, this is the only city that joined the temporarily occupied territory with the territory controlled by Ukraine, in the morning there were 6,000 cars. This morning they let about 100 cars go at the very last checkpoint, at the so-called” flat. “. But there they turned around and said” Saturday and Sunday are days off. Six thousand residents have literally lived in cars for more than ten days and cannot leave for Zaporozhye – this is really a mockery of our people, “Fedorov stressed.
