Triassi has several objectives for his mandate, maintaining the autonomy that has always characterized his work, but with a great openness in welcoming any idea or proposal for improvement in the interest of the School. “It is essential – says Triassi – to optimize institutional relations with the University and with the Strategic Management of the Company, with the aim of filling the shortage of staff and resources with which we deal daily”. “I believe it is absolutely necessary, in agreement with the Academic Bodies, to attempt a redefinition of the integration between university Departments and the company for the acquisition of resources – he says – In this way it will be possible to avoid that the welfare shortages also sacrifice the scientific activity that in the years to come, however, it must be strongly strengthened “.
For the newly elected, the new School will also have to “commit itself to requesting extraordinary resources from Miur or through European funds for extraordinary restructuring, technological modernization and redefinition of paths: it will be difficult but we have to try”. “When this emergency moment is over, we will deal with the competition between the universities themselves and with the telematic universities – he adds – A strong modernization of teaching is necessary, also with the use of new technologies of which the School of Medicine is partly she is already gifted, but above all by enhancing interactivity with students during lessons and enhancing internships and practical activities “. “It will also be necessary to develop tools for evaluating the effectiveness of training – he concludes – the professionals we train must be truly capable of being excellent and ready for work”.
