“FC Seoul’s Na Sang-ho Wins K-League ‘Goal of the Month’ Award for April”

[OSEN=정승우 기자] FC Seoul Na Sang-ho (27) won the K-League ‘Goal of the Month’ in April.

Sponsored by Dongwon F&B, ‘Dongwon Spring Water Goal of the Month by Mother Nature’ is an award given to the player who scored the most impressive goal every month. For two candidates, the winner will be determined by 100% fan voting through the K-League membership application ‘Kick’.

The goal of the month for April was for K-League 1 rounds 5-10, and Na Sang-ho and Lee Jin-hyun (Daejeon) competed.

Na Sang-ho hit a right-footed shot from a long distance outside the penalty box in the 5th minute of the second half of the 5th round Daejeon away, and the ball was sucked straight into the opposing team’s goal. In the 28th minute of the second half against Jeonbuk in the 9th round, Lee Jin-hyun attempted a left-footed kick in a corner kick situation, drawing a fantastic trajectory and splitting the opposing team’s net.

A total of 11,415 people participated in the fan vote held on ‘Kick’ for three days from the 11th to the 13th. As a result, Na Sang-ho, who received 5,808 votes (50.9%), narrowly beat Lee Jin-hyun, who received 5,607 votes (49.1%), by a margin of 1.8%. After winning the ‘EA SPORTS K-League Player of the Month Award’ in April, Na Sang-ho enjoyed the double celebration of winning ‘Mother Nature’s Dongwon Spring Water Goal of the Month’.

Na Sang-ho’s ‘April Goal’ award ceremony will be held on the 20th at the Seoul World Cup Stadium where Seoul and Jeju meet, and a trophy will be delivered along with a prize money of 1 million won.
