Just eleven days after winning the 33rd German championship, FC Bayern Munich caused a sensation on the transfer market.
After SPORTS1-Information will sign the German record champions Raphael Guerreiro, who comes on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund. Club and players are largely in agreement, there are only a few details to be clarified.
The Portuguese is due to come to Munich next week to complete the obligatory medical check-up and sign a three-year contract until 2026. Guerreiro is a dream player for coach Thomas Tuchel, who had already coached him when he was Dortmund coach.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also reported on the commitment.
“After seven incredible years, it is time for me to say goodbye to all of you with great sadness,” Guerreiro began his parting words. He will “never forget the love I have received from the fans and my teammates over these seven years. I had the chance to play with some fantastic players!”
Guerreiro played for Dortmund for a total of seven years and played 224 competitive games during this time. In these he scored 40 goals and put on another 50 hits. With Dortmund he celebrated the DFB Cup victory in 2017 and 2021.
