FBI mistakenly reveals classified name linked to September 11 attacks

The Saudi official is believed to have helped al Qaeda terrorists for 9/11.

Even a well-kept secret ends up being exposed. The FBI has just had the bitter experience of it by inadvertently revealing the name of a Saudi official suspected of having helped members of Al Qaeda commandos responsible for the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The name of this former employee from the Saudi Embassy in Washington, mentioned in a 2012 Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) report, was brought to light in the testimony of its deputy director of counterterrorism. Jill Sanborn speaks in a legal proceeding launched three years ago by families of 9/11 victims against Saudi Arabia, for complicity in the worst terrorist attacks on the ground American (2,976 dead in total).
