Father and daughter with dog hit by car in Breedenbroek | Inland

The accident happened around 6.30 pm at the intersection of Prinsenstraat and Den Dam. The father and daughter were cycling. They had their dog in a cart behind one of the bicycles. The motorist was blinded by the sun and did not see the cyclists, who were driving around a bend at the time.

The father has been taken to hospital. The dog was also injured. The animal has been taken to a vet. The daughter was unharmed.

The police are investigating the accident.
