One person died last night in a traffic accident involving several vehicles on the A58 between Rucphen and Roosendaal-Oost. Several people were injured. The highway will likely remain closed in both directions all night, reports said Broadcasting Brabant.
It is not yet clear what exactly happened. Rijkswaterstaat reports that two accidents occurred shortly after each other. That happened just before 9 p.m. near Rucphen. People who have seen something are urged to report to the police.
The road is expected to remain closed until 6 a.m. Traffic can detour via the A16 and A17 towards Roosendaal and Breda.
