The violence of the flames was impressive in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in Anglet. A fire broke out in a building in five floors at 36 avenue d’Espagne. The fire started on the second floor. A 58-year-old man died, a young woman in her twenties was injured and rushed to Bayonne Hospital. Three spears and the large ladder were needed to overcome the disaster. The 32 occupants of the 20 apartments were evacuated. The origin of this fire is still unknown. The Judicial Police have opened an investigation.
