In the novel, Dom Toretto fights for the most valuable thing he has, his family. The shadows of the past are beginning to destroy his happy life. People who want to destroy everything he loves in revenge.
The filmmakers follow the story line of Fast and Furious 5, when Toretto broke up the drug gang of Brazilian underworld kingpin Hernan Reyes. Years later, however, his son Dante (Jason Momoa) comes to avenge his father.
He can win over other enemies with whom the protagonist has fought in the past. As part of the new clashes, they will then go from Los Angeles, where Toretto has lived quietly, on a trip around the world, including to Brazil, Portugal, London, Rome and Antarctica.
