Mohamed Farouk, a Pyramids player, said that the goal of his club and his team is to compete for all the tournaments in which the team participates, pointing to his team’s pursuit of the African Confederation title during this season.
Pyramids added in a press statement after the Smouha match: “Since the beginning of the current season, everyone is thinking about winning and achieving a special championship, as the club and its management provide everything for the players and the technical staff.”
He continued: “Pyramids does not focus with any other team. Its goal is to win all its matches and advance more in the league table.”
On the team’s matches in the Confederation competition, he explained: “The title is the ultimate goal for the team this year, especially after the modifications to the tournament’s shape after there were 4 games that became just two games towards achieving the dear dream.”
He continued: “We are focusing on the first game, Houria Conakry of Guinea, in the semi-final, and we are working to achieve the first championship in the history of the club, which was born great.”
Farouk stressed, during his statements, that the pressure of matches and playing a match every 4 days or less and after a large pause due to the Corona virus, will affect the players and injuries and stress will appear.
He concluded: “Pyramids is a great team that has a huge group of stars in various positions and is not affected by the absence of any player and is able to achieve victories.”
Pyramids were able to return to the path of victories again after the difficult victory that was achieved at the expense of Smouha with two goals to one in the framework of the 21st week of the Egyptian We League competition.
