Farmers markets like here in Niederalm and farm shops were literally stormed.
When the shelves were partly empty in many supermarkets during the first lockdown in the spring of last year, the hour came for the 36,000 direct farmers. Farmers who sold their products from the farm were literally stormed. There were often long queues in front of the farm shops and demand exploded. Right on the doorstep, the farmers offered secure supplies and quality that you could rely on.
