Tomas Kollar understood nothing.

But Färjestad’s 3–1 goal was approved and the team is close to the series victory.

– It is completely incomprehensible, says Kollar to TV4.

With two SHL rounds left to play, Färjestad has six points to the credit of second-placed Växjö Lakers.

Thursday night’s three points against the Malmö Redhawks – the twelfth straight victory – meant that the series victory was almost secured.

“How can he?”

Färjestad won 5–4 against Malmö, after a match where a goal in the middle of the second period was disputed.

Liam Öhgren scored 3–1 for Färjestad, while the away team claimed that Lucas Forsell was in an illegal place in the goal yard and disturbed goalkeeper Daniel Marmenlind.

However, the judges believed that Forsell had been pushed by Matias Lassen.

– How can he judge goals? It is completely incomprehensible. It’s so damn bad, says Malmö coach Tomas Kollar to TV4.

Anger in Malmö

Check continues:

– Then we can put it into a system. We go into the blue color and pretend to be pushed in, then we can score a lot of goals.

– What is he doing there? What does he do in the color blue? Nobody pushed him in there.

Liam Öhgren was unaware of the situation when he steered the puck in elegantly.

– Perfect height and speed on the puck, so I can control it well. I didn’t really see what was happening behind me, says Öhgren to TV4.

The third period became dramatic when Malmö turned to a 4–3 lead, but Färjestad turned the tide and won.
