Farhan got a passion for playing volleyball when he was 12 years old. This hobby was then increasingly practiced when he entered high school in the city of Bandung. Farhan then took part in a number of local events to play in the National Sports Week (PON).
His professional career then began when he joined Pasundan Bandung in the 2019 Division 1 Livoli. Then Farhan Halim continued his career at Jakarta Pertamina Energi in 2018 and finished at the Proliga event.

Have Played Overseas

Farhan then chose to return to Pasundan Bandung in 2019. He played a role in helping the club get promoted to the Livoli Premier Division. Previously, Farhan also helped Pasundan Bandung to win the Livoli Division I 2019. Farhan then returned to Jakarta to Pertamina Energi in 2019.
His slick appearance was then sniffed at in the United Arab Emirates. In 2021, Farhan Halim had the opportunity to play in Dubai with Hatta Club Dubai VC to take part in the 2021 United Arab Emirates Junior Volleyball League.

Pasundan University student

In the midst of his busy life as a professional volleyball player, Farhan does not forget his academy education. In 2019, he received a scholarship from the Pasundan Association to study at Pasundan University, Bandung. Farhan Halim is currently registered as a student at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Pasundan.
As an undergraduate education scholarship student, Farhan is exempt from tuition fees for a maximum of four years of study. Farhan received the scholarship after helping Bandung Pasundan win the 2019 Livoli Division I Interclub Championship in Pacitan, East Java.

No Little Fingers
Not many people know that Farhan actually plays volleyball with limitations. The reason is, he does not have two little fingers. Farhan lost two little fingers when he was still in elementary school because they were amputated as a result of being pinched by the elbow supporting the water reservoir.
Even though he played within limits, that was not an obstacle for Farhan. At the 2023 SEA Games, he managed to prove himself as the Serving King in the Indonesian men’s volleyball national team.
