It seemed as if the locusts had come to celebrate Ronaldo’s new club Al-Nassr FC 4-0 away win at Al Wehda. “CR7” scored all the hits.

However, fans at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium were relatively unperturbed by the locust infestation. Many of them sat perfectly still and endured the invasion of the small animals.
The background: Pictures like these are not uncommon in Saudi Arabia. Almost every year, gigantic swarms of locusts reach the country, looking for a new home everywhere. So Ronaldo will have to get used to these peculiar fans.
