The program “Family Studio” goes to Jelgava to a clinical psychologist, special pedagogue, company “Barboleta” creator Baiba Blomniece-Jurāne. The meeting takes place in kindergarten, because it is not only Baiba’s and Marek’s workplace, their children Rainer, who will soon be 18 years old, and 12-year-old Elza often also come here. –
Baiba Blomniece-Jurāne is not only the creator of the barbolet development method, which helps to learn more easily. She and her husband Marek set up a kindergarten “Learning to learn” and a development center two years ago. This period has been a test for the whole family.
“How many tears have been wiped out, how many evenings have you wanted to say – all is enough. The children are waiting for dinner with mom, not mom – with the children. reveals Baiba Blomniece-Jurāne.
Baiba also does not hide that she, as a mother, was uncomfortable that the children were waiting for her at home with dinner, but the satisfaction is the happy children, happy parents she has helped.
It is no coincidence that the conversation takes place in the garden, because here the family has been together for the last two years.
“These are our second homes,” Baiba says expectantly.
Baiba tells and Rainer himself remembers that he celebrated his 16th birthday in kindergarten, helping to screw the closets together before the opening.
Rainer admits that a lot of family time has been invested in creating a kindergarten and development center – his father restored the premises, he participates in exhibitions with his mother, but Elza has taken on some household chores and is more with the children of the kindergarten.
“I feel fond of helping my family,” admits Elza. Rainer adds that by working in a family business, he learns to cooperate and communicate.
Introducing the method of developing a barbolet, Baiba admits that it arose “thanks to the children who taught me as a mother, as a psychologist.”
“Raising my children, I saw how moving children are,” says Baiba, admitting that she also learns better when she moves. She also worked at school looking for ways to get children interested in learning. Discovered
if children do not want to focus on the subject, movements always help. It has become a platform for balance, which helps to learn on the move.
Baiba emphasizes that without the support of children and her husband, she would not have realized her plan, but her first son of balance was created by her father, a professional carpenter.
Elza says that with the help of the balance platform invented by her mother, she has studied English, Rainer – Russian, the history of the year, also mathematics.
By creating a kindergarten and development center, she wanted to create a place where children could feel at home, feel supported.
The balance boards created by Baiba are already known to the neighboring Lithuanians and also to the Italians. Marek finds that in Italy they are used to teach the language to refugees.
“We can survive, I will say now, we can live,” Baiba describes the family business, revealing that they are social entrepreneurs.
Watching his mother and father work, Rainer admits that he would not want to be an entrepreneur at least for now, because he wants to see the results of his work much sooner. If you don’t see it, you can just give up.
Elza evaluates: “If my mother can be an entrepreneur, why can’t I be.” She is not yet sure what her field will be, but she allows the idea that she could continue her mother’s work, but she also has many different ideas for herself.
