Failed Mediation Leads to OI Founder Reported by Iwan Fals’ Wife to Police

The chaotic management of the Indonesian People’s Organization (OI) between Iwan Fals with one of the administrators resulted in a police report. Iwan Fals’ wife, Rosanna Listanto, reported one of the OI administrators to Polda Metro Jaya.

Prior to submitting the report, Iwan Fals admitted that he had made mediation efforts with the founder of the mass organization. However, mediation was never reached until finally Iwan Fals’ wife reported to the police.

Iwan Fals accompanied his wife, Rosanna, to make a report at the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday (4/11) yesterday afternoon. Iwan Fals also a witness in the case reported by the wife.

“Regarding defamation. I have my children and OI colleagues. Meanwhile, I accompanied my wife. More details to the lawyers,” said Iwan Fals at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Thursday (4/11/2021).

The report of Iwan Fals’ wife is recorded in the LP (Police Report) number: STTLP/B/5511/11//II/2021/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya. KS was reported on charges of Article 27 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law and/or Articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code regarding slander and unpleasant acts.

Iwan Fals’ team of lawyers named Ikhsan said that in the report, Iwan Fals’ wife reported a person with the initials KS. This KS is said to be the legal representative of IB, one of the pendiri OI.

“This report is related to the existence of slander or false news that is broadcast in electronic media, including YouTube, by a person who I call the initials KS,” said Ikhsan.
