Facebook has sent messages to its users telling them about an upcoming change in private messaging for Instagram and Messenger.
Facebook has already started setting up a feature to unify the messaging of its various social networks. Initially, this change will affect Messenger and Instagram. The two social networks will have a single space where Messenger and Instagram messages will be shared.
The message sent by the social media giant to its users concerned IOS and Android, accompanied by a small pop-up that displayed the various new features and which bore the logos of Messenger and Instagram.
Whatsapp will not be spared
WhatsApp is not affected at this time, but Facebook is planning to add it to the list. The American company expects to have experience feedback from this new functionality before generalizing it.
Now, this new platform is available, but remains behind the scenes, and Facebook is just waiting for the right moment to announce its deployment, and therefore make it visible to all users.
