Facebook Messenger is the official Facebook app with which you can chat with your friends via the well-known social network. The app can be used to start calls that can then be continued on the PC.
Like the vast majority of such apps, Facebook Messenger also offers the possibility of exchanging pictures or your current position with your friends. You can even add multiple recipients and keep chat windows open with multiple people at the same time. Each conversation can then be seen in a separate bubble that you can move around on the display as you wish.
You can also configure Facebook Messenger so that you receive sound and vibration notifications as soon as you have received a new message. If the person you want to talk to doesn’t have Facebook (or is currently not logged in), you can even send a normal SMS. VoIP calls can also be made with the app.
One of the most entertaining things about the app is the sticker collection that you can use to customize your conversations. These funny pictures are very reminiscent of the gigantic emoticons from LINE.
