Facebook crash. Users without access to the site

Millions of Facebook and Instagram users experienced tough times on Friday night. Around 9:30 pm a serious failure began, which led to the unavailability of the main Meta services: Facebook, Messenger and Instagram were all inactive. Fortunately, the unavailability of services did not last long: around 10:40 pm the breakdown ended.

Downdetector reports clearly show the extent of the problem: the number of failure reports grows very rapidly, reaching thousands in a short time. In addition to Facebook itself, Messenger and Instagram have also stopped working. The crash affects both the desktop version and mobile applications.

The issues began to be reported around 9:30 pm and a map showing the geographic distribution of the reports shows that the lack of access to Facebook has been reported nationwide. Most of the reports come from larger cities in Poland, although there are also reports from smaller cities.
