Extremely Dangerous Category Four Hurricane Lidia to Hit Mexico’s Pacific Coast

Hurricane Lidia is on its way to Mexico and is referred to as an extremely dangerous category four hurricane.

US National Hurricane Center writes that the hurricane is extremely dangerous and that it has wind speeds of up to 220 kilometers per hour.

The hurricane is headed for Mexico’s Pacific coast and is expected to hit several resorts. It will make landfall later Tuesday, according to the hurricane center.

In the resort town of Puerta Vallarta, the shops are closed and sandbags are laid out in the streets.

Heavy rainfall and the risk of landslides along the coast are expected.
