Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center, said that weather disturbances are expected in the coming days, with the peak starting next Monday and continuing on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“Ghanem” added to “Masrawy” that the weather condition is affected by a disturbance in maritime traffic, starting next Monday, and continuing until Wednesday, with the continued winter weather par excellence in all governorates of the Republic, and the maximum temperature in Greater Cairo will be 16 to 17 degrees Celsius.
A member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center explained that the presence of a depression in the upper atmosphere continues. It leads to rain of varying intensity on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, reaching Greater Cairo.
She indicated that the weather condition is very cold at night in all parts of the country, while it is cold in the morning in the northern governorates, and tends to be warm in the south of the country.
She added that moderate rain is expected today on the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, light and moderate rain on the interior governorates, light extension to Greater Cairo, and wind activity. It leads to a feeling of increased coldness and lower temperatures.
