The IV Congress of the ABV Party re-elected Rumen Petkov as chairman of the party. The forum also voted on a new composition of the party’s governing bodies – a 13-member Executive Bureau, a 9-member National Control Council and a 65-member National Council.
A composition of the Civil Council was also voted, whose chairman was re-elected – Prof. Lyubomir Halachev. This was announced by the party’s press center.
Rumen Petkov will have three deputies – MP Vladimir Marinov, the leader of ABV-Youth Dr. Plamena Zayachka and the regional chairman of Pernik Petar Parvanov.
192 delegates participated in the IV Congress of the ABC Party. Among the guests of the event were Atanas Zafirov – Deputy Chairman of the BSP, the financier and chairman of the National Movement for Left Union Prof. Boyan Durankev, many intellectuals and members of the public.
