There was an explosion at a catering establishment at Bussum train station on the night from Sunday to Monday. No one was injured. Train traffic has been temporarily halted, but the trains are now running according to timetable again.
The police received a report about the explosion around 3.45 am. The damage is quite extensive. Many windows were blown apart.
Train traffic around the station has been temporarily halted due to a police investigation. Until 6 a.m., few or no trains ran between the Bussum Zuid and Hilversum stations, NS reports on X.
The police are calling on witnesses to come forward.
