Just after 10 pm on Friday night, the police report that a person has been injured after a small explosion of a C02 cartridge at the restaurant at the exclusive Britannia hotel in Trondheim.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene, this person was taken care of by ambulance personnel.
– The person is now being examined by ambulance personnel. But it appears that no one was injured in connection with the explosion, says operations manager Ellen Maria Brende to TV 2.
The explosion occurred inside the restaurant’s kitchen.
Police say no people, either at the restaurant or at the hotel, were evacuated as a result of the incident.
