A fire broke out at an oil refinery on the Indonesian island of Java and a major explosion occurred. Shortly after midnight local time, the explosion occurred at the Balongan refinery site in Indramayu, some 200 kilometers east of Jakarta, on the island’s north coast. Indonesian media report that.
The refinery is owned by Pertamina, the Indonesian government’s oil and gas company.
