Exploring the Secrets of Treasures: The Rahbani Legacy and Fairouz’s Influence

He says in the opening of his work, poetry, under the title: “I am Beirut”: “The city says/ I recognized that shy green boy/ He came to me to watch two dawns: Assi and Mansour/ in Piccadilly/ and Fayrouz, University of Land and Sea/ And death by sound/ His visit was a step Towards my heart / and we became two lovers / the boy was spelling poems / I said I would become his poem / with a “genius” / where visions unfold in a deep valley.” The researcher follows here, he needs long-suffering, because he probes the depths and dives into the meanings that emerged from that ancient Rahbani verse. We truly believed what he said when he told us: When he searches for the Rahban treasures, he is only searching for their secrets. The Rahban Assi, Mansour, and Fayrouz formulated, as he sees it, the golden triangle that marks time with magical art, to fill jars with it. It will take its place for another time. Its buildings spread before the eyes, even on dark nights.
