Expatriate died in Kollam attack by wild buffalo. Samuel Varghese (60) died at Kodinjal Kunnuvila house in Ayur Peringallur. Samuel returned home from Dubai last day. Varghese was attacked from behind by a wild buffalo while he was standing in the rubber plantation next to his house this morning.
Varghese, who was seriously injured, was taken to a private hospital, but his life could not be saved. It is not clear how the bison came to that non-forest area. The bison was later found dead.
