The exhibition examines repair as an opportunity to indulge in experimentation, in search of non-standard solutions. Whether it’s self-correcting or fixing the world, the exhibition is an invitation to dare and reach for tools never used before, even if it may seem uncomfortable and a little scary.
The exhibition will present both works created on site in the museum and works selected for the exhibition, made by students of the Department of Graphics: Krista Bitmet, Annija Drungila, Evija Freudenfelde, Luīzes Gulbe, Kira Rožkova, Viktorija Ryumina, Kārlis Vēveris and Patricija Mara Vilson.
Artist Juris Petraškevičs lends his hand to free repairs and curates the exhibition.
