Painting is not dead!

After the erasure of painting in contemporary art in favor of other media, many painters are returning to the fore. They excel in techniques, innovate, and feed off the images produced by our society. “History, stories in paintings” is a collective exhibition which brings together the very best of contemporary French painting. It testifies to the way in which painters represent history today.

But what story? The one that will remain in school books?
Or the daily life of everyone, this myriad of little stories that depict a society?
It’s all of this at the same time, paint life in all its forms.
