The architecture office of Klaus Wehrle from Gutach-Bleibach received another award for a project in the field of commercial construction.
The architectural office a3 with its subsidiary Carré Planungsgesellschaft – the managing director is the architect Klaus Wehrle – was awarded a prize for “exemplary building” by the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects for the new construction of an industrial building for the company Scherzinger Pumpen GmbH in Gütenbach.
The Scherzinger company produces precision pumps and needed another building for production, assembly, administration, social rooms and the exchange of goods. The wooden facade, the lattice girders and the pillars of the hall made of beech are a strong commitment of the builders to sustainable building with renewable raw materials from the region. Innovative ventilation technology for air filtering protects employees and the environment.
