Roman Šolc, who became the central figure in the wardrobe of this year’s participants of the popular dance show StarDance, uses his previous experience in his current profession as a costume designer. He was a professional dancer himself, from 2001 to 2004 he worked in the ballet of the National Theater in Prague and received several prestigious awards and nominations. The most complicated dress
For costume designer Roman Šolec, the cha-cha dresses for Eva Adamczyková and Jakub Mazůch were the biggest challenge. “The green jacket had two linings, and Eva had a belt with glitter coming out. So the most difficult thing was to invent a system for the tape so that the glitter would fly out of it.” the costume designer said.

“I think Mrs. Chylková’s dress, where we painted sheet music on chiffon, turned out very well,” the designer explained the process of making the eye-catching dress from the initial episode of this year’s StarDance show.
