In the grip of doubt, the companion of Sandrine Aboukrat had some difficulties to find its place among these artists. “One day, I found myself in a box with Julien Clerc, Francis Cabrel…he recalls. I had a crazy voice, a huge tube, I was at the top, but I did not feel equal with them“. Humble and reserved, the 60-year-old artist has often lived in the shadow of certain singers, including that of his “longtime friend” Patrick Bruel. “I have always accompanied him on the piano and he knew how to be daring, to find the equation to win. Not me, that’s how it is“, he confessed with a touch of bitterness. Twenty years have passed and the father of three children knew “take a step back” during this period of his life. “Living in Shards”. His new tour is aptly named. Suffering from colon cancer, Daniel Lévi never gave up in the face of the disease. It is therefore with modesty that the singer agreed to confide in his state of health during this same interview for Gala. “I’m not going to dwell on the subject”he warns before continuing: “I took care of myself, I take care of myself. The disease is stable. I stop the chemo which tired me. I’m going to attack an immunotherapy protocol to boost my immune system. And I target the things that are wrong. Lungs. That’s why I cough a little”, confides the friend of Ahmed Mouici. His wife and producer Sandrine, present at his side adds: “It’s better, it’s fine. And the pace of work has not dropped, quite the contrary.” News that can only reassure its audience.
