Indeed, the 5 km and 10 km were both qualifiers for the next French championships. “France” which, for the 5 km, will take place in three short weeks in Saint-Omer (Pas-de-Calais). Which explains the density displayed on this Sunday race, which also served as the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional distance championship.
