Intense, busy and exciting days are behind Mátyás Esterházy, Dominik Szoboszlai’s manager. In an interview with Nemzeti Sport, he spoke about this himself, revealing that the events of the Hungarian national team captain’s contract with Liverpool accelerated in a matter of seconds, and last week his conversations with the officials of the English club became serious.
The manager also said that there was no particular problem, in fact the parties quickly came to an agreement. Liverpool was always of utmost importance to them, and when it became clear that the English wanted to acquire Dominik Szoboszlai, the question was whether they would accept the terms of Leipzig. They accepted it and that’s a huge thing.
“First of all, I’m very proud of the work that Dominik has done to get this far, and it’s obviously a huge opportunity for him to show himself in the strongest league in the world, in one of the most famous clubs in the world, under the guidance of one of the best coaches in the world, if at this level also proves his talent. I can’t really express how big of a chance this is for him, but we obviously trust Dominik that he will benefit his team with an outstanding performance at this level as well.
