In a special part, you will meet partners who live at the castle in Osečany, Dan Krejčík (26) and Matěj Stropnický (37). They met very romantically, at the National Theater, they have been living together for 3.5 years. Matěj and Dan were involved in the production with the participation in the project and they became interested in how the filming went.
On the other hand, you will meet Martina (35), Pavel (39), Pavel (14), Martin (14), Šárka (10), Adéla (7), Vojta (3) and Josef (5 months), who live in Jablonec nad I don’t know. In addition to their children together, the two also have children from previous relationships. Martina claims that Pavel is lazy, and that probably bothers her the most. Taking care of such a large family is very difficult for her.
When Martina arrives at her ten-day residence, she will be completely shocked. With great astonishment he will walk through the castle and admire the vast spaces and architectural elements. She said herself that she would feel like a chateau lady. Can he take care of such a large household?
And how will Dan do it on the other hand? Cooking, washing, cleaning, online teaching of several children and even the care of a five-month-old baby and the naughty three-year-old Vojta! Dan will have to take care of all this in the role of a surrogate mother. And how does Martin manage the daily team at home when, according to her, her father doesn’t help her at all?
Martina manages the household and the children well, but Matěj finds out that her mother forgets about herself and her husband Pavel will tell it between the Eight Eyes (in the video here). “Have dinner with me,” Matěj urges. “No, I’m not hungry. Normally I have something to eat when it’s quiet and calm in the evening, so I milk something after the children. But I drink six to eight large cups of coffee a day,” Martina surprises.
Matěj will not like that very much. “I think you have a well-organized household, so don’t tell me you won’t take half an hour to rest,” he notes. Martina admits that it is not very healthy, so Matěj decides to do something about it. Will he succeed?
The partners talked about Wednesday’s special work together with the director in Breakfast with Nova. How did the idea for this part actually come about? “It occurred to us that in these disgusting times, it would take some work that would be special for people, so that it would not be a stereotype,” says Jana Rezková, the director of the Wife Exchange.
The partners also talked about how long they had decided whether to go to the Exchange or not. “We thought about it for about three weeks,” Matěj admitted. “Society is very divided, because most of the time everyone is surrounded by people with the same opinions. So I felt good to come out of the bubble and I got Dan into it,” Matěj described one of the reasons why they went for it in the end.
