The €20,000 prize money guarantee was easily exceeded at the €130 + 20 Andante opening event of the Poker Festival in Casino Salzburg. 30 players can still hope for the prize of €5,560 today.
Day 1A on Tuesday already provided a solid basis, and yesterday, October 25th, we went to the tables again with 30,000 chips and 25 minute levels. The participation was similar, 75 starters and 32 re-entries were recorded. In total, there were 199 entries (146/53) and thus prize money of €25,870.
Yesterday’s goal for the day was also the money, 16 players bagged chips for today’s final. Klaus Rainer celebrated the day’s victory with 441,000 chips, taking the lead in the overall standings. A total of 30 players are starting the final today, all of whom have already secured the min cash. The winner will receive €5,560, but unfortunately we don’t have the exact prize money breakdown.
The final starts at 6 p.m., and at 8 p.m. there is the €50 + 10 Mega Satellite (15k/20′), in which at least ten €550 tickets for the Opus (main event) will be awarded. The €500 + 50 Opus has a €50,000 prize money guarantee and is then played over the weekend with two starting days and a final day.
