Examined by Bareskrim, Ex-ACT President Explains about JT-610 Inheritance Fund

Jakarta

Police Criminal Investigation has finished examining the former President Action Quick Response (ACT) Ahyudin regarding the alleged misappropriation of funds. Ahyudin admitted that he was being investigated by investigators regarding funds from Boeing for the victims of the Lion Air JT-610 crash.

“Today we discussed more about Boeing. So Alhamdulillah with the investigators, we have discussed Boeing comprehensively, although I can’t explain it here in full,” said Ahyudin when leaving the Police Criminal Investigation Unit building, South Jakarta, Monday (11/7/2011). 2022).

Ahyudin was examined for approximately 12 hours since 10:00 WIB this morning. He denied that the funds disbursed by Boeing were in the form of money or compensation. According to him, the funds will be formed in the program of public facilities (fasum).

“But the outline is the form of the program mandated by Boeing to ACT in the form of a public health program, the provision of public facilities. So it’s not money that is given to the heirs,” he said.

“So it should not be interpreted that the CSR funds received by ACT from Boeing are a form of cash compensation entrusted by Boeing to ACT and then given to the heirs, that’s not the case,” he added.

Furthermore, Ahyudin said the program is still running with progress of around 75 percent. He admitted that he did not know the details of the program because he is no longer the President of ACT since January 2022.

“I am the chairman of the supervisory board who is not directly involved in program operations. Moreover, since January 11, 2022 I have no longer served as chairman of the ACT advisory board. So the progress of the program from January to July 2022 I also don’t know, so it took me 6 months I don’t understand the progress, yes,” he added.

It is known that the Bareskrim Polri is investigating the alleged misappropriation of funds at the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Foundation. The case has now moved to the investigation stage.

“Update on the misappropriation of ACT Foundation funds. The case has been upgraded from an investigation to an investigation,” said Karo Penmas Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Monday (11/7).
