There are changes on the Swiss Board of Directors. The airline announced that the two long-standing board members Harry Hohmeister (55) and Ulrik Svensson (58) stepped down from the board at the beginning of April.
–
For health reasons, Svensson has resigned from his role as CFO of the Lufthansa Group and is also stepping down from the Swiss Board of Directors. Hohmeister was head of Swiss from April 2009 to the end of 2015. Now he is also leaving the supervisory body of the Swiss airline. His new job: he now has to ensure that the parent company Lufthansa is able to get through the corona crisis as unscathed as possible.

Thanks to the two retiring
Reto Francioni, Chairman of the Swiss Board of Directors, said in the message: “I thank Harry Hohmeister and Ulrik Svensson for their extraordinary commitment to our Swiss.”

The two departures on the Swiss Board of Directors will be replaced by the Lufthansa Group Executive Board, Christina Foerster and Detlef Kayser. (koh)
