Hugo Gatti, goalkeeper of the two traditional rivals Boca Juniors and River Plate Argentinians, has become the latest casualties Corona Virus.
Corona virus has infected many football stars around the world, led by the Italian Juventus trio, Paulo Dybala, Bliss Matuidi, Daniele Rogani, Calum Hudson Audoy, Chelsea Pavilion, and Michael Arteta, Arsenal coach.
The former Argentine goalkeeper entered a hospital in the Spanish capital, Madrid, after tests confirmed his suffering from the new Corona virus, according to his son Lucas, told local Argentine media.
Lucas Gatti told INFAPI: “He told us that he is in good condition, but that he is upset with his disease, we are awaiting recovery soon and continuing to improve, and we hope that this madness will end.”
Gatti has played in major Argentine clubs from the 1960s to the 1980s, such as River Plate and Jimnasia La Plata and ended his career with Boca Juniors.
And Spain recorded, on Tuesday, the highest death rate due to the epidemic (514 cases), bringing the total victims of Covid-19 in the European country to 2700, while the number of injured rose to nearly 40 thousand cases.
