At the beginning of the artist’s summer, Mayor Hans Schmalhofer brought a very special treat to Plattling: On Sunday, June 20, the European Weeks stopped for the first time in Plattling under the Magdalen roof. Singer Yaremi de las Mercedes Kordos invited the audience to a trip to Cuba with Habana Tradicional. The musicians transported Plattling to the Caribbean with well-known melodies from the Buena Vista Social Club. For many in the audience, it was the first concert visit after a long corona lean period. They enjoyed that they didn’t have to wear a mask, at least in the field.
