Everything “sportstudio”: ZDF-Sport with a new look

The ZDF sports programs are given a new look. With the start of the final round of the European Football Championship (June 11th to July 11th), the focus will be on the “current sports studio” as a unique selling point. In the opinion of the broadcaster, the sports programs should appear “fresher” and “more contemporary”, not least thanks to this umbrella brand strategy.

The titles of the individual programs will be adjusted accordingly. All live broadcasts will therefore run under “sportstudio live” in the future, the “sports reportage” on Sunday afternoon will be called “sportstudio reportage”, the online offer “sportstudio.de”. The name for “the current sport studio” on Saturday evening will be retained.

In the future, ZDF-Sport can also be found in the social networks such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube under “sportstudio”. “The new concept strengthens the ZDF sports family as a whole and increases the recognition value for viewers,” said ZDF sports director Thomas Fuhrmann.
