Every champion in the history of the Super Bowl

This Sunday a new edition of the Super Bowl is celebrated. Number 55 will be the strangest since the first NFL final in 1967 was played in the current format.

This time the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, will repeat the final, who will seek their second championship in a row, something that has not happened in the American football league since 2004. Before the Super Bowl arrived last year, the Kansas franchise had spent a total of 50 years without being able to fight for the title. Those who will try to prevent it are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Patriots and Steelers have won the Super Bowl the most times: six

The New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers are the teams that have won the Super Bowl the most times, with a total of six, being the Patriots the ones that have reached the big game the most times, with eleven, all from 1985. The following on the list are the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys, with five.

Not all franchises have played a Super Bowl. There are 32 teams in the NFL, of which all have different years of foundation, since there are those that are from the beginning, such as the Green Bay Packers, or those that have less than 30 years in the league, such as the Carolina Panthers or Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Vince Lombardi trophy already awaits the winner
